For tenants who appeal a magisterial district court judgment for possession and cannot pay the rent required for a stay. File it with your notice of appeal and an in forma pauperis (IFP) affidavit; add the Common Pleas docket number the prothonotary gives you, and cross out "have" or "have not" paid the rent this month.
